2009 Comanche Crossing

On February 28th and March 1st of 2009, Comanche Crossing, in Seguin, TX., held their first CASI Chili Cook Off.  We hope that it will become an annual event, because we all had a very good time.  On Friday night (2/27), Brutus provided us all with a wonderful meal of Brisket, beans and German coleslaw.  Saturday brought very strong winds, but that didn't stop 30 cooks from showing up to cook!  We all gathered on the pavilion in the back and cooked our hearts out.  We also had five cookers join the Classic CASI Pod!!  Saturday night, most of us hung around and enjoyed a fun filled night of Karaoke.  Below you will find pictures from the 28th.  Saturday's proceeds went to the Seguin Special Olympics and Sunday the benefactor was Christian Free Clinic.
